NCS Youth Home works in partnership with the referral agent, parent, school district, and youth to determine the youth’s educational needs. The educational service options are the following:

• Attending off grounds ED classes at the SITE (Students in Transitional Education) school
• Enrollment in the Freeport public school system
• Attending the Alternative Educational Program in Freeport
• Participation in GED programming
• Completing correspondence coursework through Freeport School District #145
